Politics in the UK are largely uninteresting. We have an upcoming referendum on the introduction of a AV (Alternative Vote) system and it's the biggest thing to happen in decades. I think the best way to explain UK politics is this: In America they have political dramas, The West Wing for example, in Britain we have political comedies, e.g. Yes Minister. The name of the game is apathy.
